Challenge
The Friends of the Oregon Commission for Women faced a design challenge with their Annual Women of Achievement Awards event. They needed print collateral that not only honored remarkable female Oregonians but also celebrated femininity and leadership. The challenge was to strike a balance between the event's austerity and the tenderness that should be associated with recognizing these exceptional women.

Solution
The print collateral for the event was designed to convey both the gravitas of the occasion and the essence of femininity and leadership. Simple and elegant imagery was incorporated, reflecting the event's seriousness and importance.
Traditional typefaces were used to maintain a sense of formality. However, the design also introduced subtle elements that added a hint of tenderness and celebration of femininity. This balanced approach effectively captured the event's essence, ensuring that it honored exceptional women while also conveying a sense of warmth and appreciation. The final print collateral successfully celebrated both the achievements and the unique qualities of the honorees.
